The Senate met at 5 p.m.
(Senator Kessler, Acting President, in the Chair.)

Prayer was offered by the Honorable Ronald F. Miller, a senator from the tenth district.
At the request of Senator Unger, and by unanimous consent, the provisions of rule number fifty-four of the Rules of the Senate, relating to persons entitled to the privileges of the floor, were suspended in order to grant Delaney Wells, the daughter of the Honorable Erik P. Wells, a senator from the eighth district, privileges of the floor for the day.
Pending the reading of the Journal of Sunday, March 13, 2011,
On motion of Senator Chafin, the Journal was approved and the further reading thereof dispensed with.
Senator Unger then moved that the Senate adjourn until tomorrow, Tuesday, March 15, 2011, at 11 a.m.
The question being on the adoption of Senator Unger's aforestated motion, and on this question, Senator Fanning demanded the yeas and nays.
The roll being taken, the yeas were: Boley, Browning, Chafin, Edgell, D. Facemire, K. Facemyer, Fanning, Green, Hall, Helmick, Jenkins, Laird, McCabe, Miller, Minard, Nohe, Palumbo, Plymale, Prezioso, Snyder, Stollings, Sypolt, Tucker, Unger, Wells, Williams, Wills, Yost and Kessler--29.
The nays were: Beach, Foster and Klempa--3.
Absent: Barnes and Tomblin (Mr. President)--2.
So, a majority of those present and voting having voted in the affirmative, the President declared Senator Unger's motion had prevailed.
In accordance with the foregoing motion, the Senate adjourned until tomorrow, Tuesday, March 15, 2011, at 11 a.m.
